Strategy:

Financial markets due to the human nature in them are considered living bodies. To deal with a living competitor, you need a dynamic strategy. This belief was the beginning of Pipsopolis, a system which has 4 subsystems in it, all having the same origin. These systems have not only been backtested for an extensive amount of time, but also every trade is being logged in all of them in real trading conditions. Sounds hard? You bet. But the hard work worth the payoff.

In Pipsopolis we look at fundamental of each economy, from New Zealand to Canada, and based on the news for the coming day, we decide to be bullish or bearish for that particular economy. Then to find another economy to trade it against, we use a simple technical analysis technique.

Based on our ongoing logs, every couple of months we choose which economy performs better in which subsystem. This is exactly in line with what happened in the markets at the beginning of the recession: most systems stop working. But for us it was just a change in gears: shifting from one subsystem to the next. Our performance declined, but our system did survive the turmoil.
